Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to shop at Arfa7 Tech, including people with disabilities and those who use assistive technologies.
Our commitment
We aim for the site to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, and to the European standard EN 301 549, and we keep improving it.
Conformance status
The site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1, level AA: some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the requirements (see below).
What we have done
- Pages have a “Skip to content” link that bypasses the navigation.
- The language of every page is declared (Bulgarian or English) so that screen readers recognise it.
- The rotating banners on the home page can be paused, and they do not slide when “reduce motion” is set.
- Product photographs have a text alternative with the product name.
- Text and buttons meet the minimum contrast of 4.5:1. A colour set by the shop that falls short is darkened automatically.
- Fields and controls have names for screen readers, and sideways-scrolling strips can be scrolled with the keyboard too.
Known limitations
- Product data and photographs come from the suppliers. Some photographs have no description beyond the product name, and some descriptions contain unstructured text or information that exists only in an image.
- On the English version of the site, product names, descriptions and specifications are in Bulgarian only.
- The content of the “Page not found” (404 error) page appears only after JavaScript has loaded.
- Manufacturers' documents and pages that we link to (for example a digital product passport) may not be accessible.
- On 16 October 2026 the main pages (home, category, product, cart, sign-in) passed an automated WCAG 2.1 AA check and what it found was fixed. A manual check with a screen reader and keyboard only has not been done yet.
